“Connections” In my first solo exhibition, I invite you to journey into the realms of “Broken Structures”, a series of digital collages, and the diverse tapestry of humanity through a collection of ink portraits called “Encounters”. This showcase encapsulates the essence of my exploration as an artist specialising in digital collage and ink drawing.

“Broken Structures” delves into the intricate relationship between ourselves and the world that envelops us. Through a series of surrealistic digital collages, I aim to challenge the way we perceive our immediate environments. It is an exploration of the hidden narratives, the fragmented moments, and the profound interconnectedness that often escapes our conscious awareness. These digital collages serve as a visual language, rich with symbolism and abstraction, guiding us through a journey of self-reflection and introspection.

In the second series, “Encounters”, I present a collection of ink portraits that shed light on our multicultural reality. By portraying individuals from diverse backgrounds, I aim to highlight the beauty and complexity of our shared human experience. These ink drawings delve into the intricate facets of gender, age, and ethnicity, celebrating the rich tapestry of humanity. Each stroke of ink on paper captures a unique story, inviting viewers to contemplate the significance of these aspects in our lives.

Through “Broken Structures” and “Encounters”, I hope to ignite conversations and inspire contemplation. As an artist, my goal is to evoke emotion, challenge preconceptions, and offer a new perspective on the world we inhabit.
